Monday Made It!!

Whoo hoo!  I'm finally able to participate in a Monday Made It over at 4th Grade Frolics!

{Psssst!  If you're here from 4th grade frolics, you might want to check out my 100 Follower Giveaway!  It's first post on my page!  Thanks! :)}

School Made It:

I keep making things to add to my Teacher's Notebook account and these things aren't necessarily things I can use in my Computer Elective lab for next year... but oh well!  It's my goal for this week to finally get some Computer Elective Units finished and ready to go.

Anyway!  I created these Parts of Speech Charts/Pictures!  They are available, if you like them, in my Teacher's Notebook store for $1.50.

Home Made It:

My Home Made It, I'm more proud of.  I was finally able to finish sanding, priming and painting my new desk for my office/project room!  Hooray!  The desk started off black and I had to paint it white to match my office.

I had to take off the gloss with my in-law's sander.  Thankfully, it was only the top most layer.  I didn't have to sand off all the black paint or else I would still be there!

This is two coats of primer and two coats of paint!

Progress....

All painted and at home in my office.  I like the contrast of the black knobs and the white paint.

As a bonus, I made this home organizer too!  I found the idea on pinterest and it was from the Lovely Crafty Home!

  4. @Leslie

    Thanks!! I use a variety of programs, but since I watched Kristen's Tutorials (Ladybug Teaching Files) on how to create items in Powerpoint, I've been using that. Since I have a Mac, I also use Pages as well.
