Math Lesson Planner

A little awhile ago, I had created a Lesson Plan page for my Language Arts classes.  When I would plan my lessons, it felt so easy it was almost like cheating! However, when I moved schools - I also switched subjects, which made my previous creation a little out of date.

So, since I was tired today (I ran a 10k this morning) I sat on my couch and finally put together my Math Lesson Planner.

This is very much inspired by the amazing Ms. M over at A Teacher's Plan.  I just used her guiding ideas and put everything together on my own.  The version here is a pic, so if you teach Middle School Math and Science, you can send me a message and I'll email you my copy!

I also received an award from Mrs. Zihren over at A Teacher's Treasure - the Sunshine Award!  Wow!  You mean, there are people out there reading all my ramblings?  It seems crazy.  (Plus, I found my Life in Middle School badge all over Pintrest - CRAZY.)  So, doing the award accepting and passing along will be my next post to accept and pass along the award.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

  1. Yippee!!!!! I'm so glad I found this example of a lesson plan!! I will be teaching 5th and 6th grade history next year for the 1st time and want to make it come alive for them. Somehow. :)

I have borrowed your example and made a rough draft of my own to get my thoughts together for the summer. I LOVE having different strategies at the bottom of the lesson plan as a quick reminder!!

    Thanks so much!!
