Teach Like a Champion Week #1

Okay - since this is week 1 and there will be bugs that have to be worked out, but I thought I would go ahead and get the Book Study started!  {cheers}

About the Book Study:  Each week, we will choose one Teach Like a Champion Strategy to focus on.  You will incorporate that strategy into your classroom life.  Some time during the week, you will blog about your experiences and then link back up here.  This way, everyone can see how the different strategies look in different classrooms, grade levels and subjects!

When Can I Join?  Anytime!  I know that everyone is busy and you might not get to a strategy every week.  That's okay!  Participate next week!

Resources:

This Week's Strategy: Let's start with Strategy #1 - No Opt Out.  This means that students are not allowed to get by with an "I don't know" answer.  Go ahead and share how you used No Opt Out in your class this week!

  1. Hi, Lauren!

    I just came across this post and I just order my book on Kindle!

    This sounds wonderful...I'll be blogging about the book study and linking up each week.

    Thanks for setting this up.

  4. I snagged a book today while I was at Barnes and Noble. I will get busy reading and give it a try this week. Thanks for putting this together and encouraging me to get this boook - I saw it in the NMSA catalogue a while back and wanted to get it then, but didn't.
