Thus I actively use
online homework help services, so that my kids will help some time for other activities than homework.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16847182725209150356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7149716969262972471.post-42200612176229073502013-04-17T23:52:27.029-07:002013-04-17T23:52:27.029-07:00Thanks for reminding me that blogging is about me....Thanks for reminding me that blogging is about me. I do get hung up on the number of people who read my blog (or the lack of them). Maybe it is a balange between my ego, my personal reflective learning and my ability to write what others want to read...
David

davidw.edublogs.orgDavidWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493377484412039911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7149716969262972471.post-33030599672914973002013-04-07T12:35:14.856-07:002013-04-07T12:35:14.856-07:00Just so you know, I have the same sharpener, and I...Just so you know, I have the same sharpener, and I think you are missing a step -

Before you put the pencil in, you should pull the metal part out. It's not to "check the progress of the sharpening," but to actually stop it once it's done.

So, the actual steps -

1. Pull the shiny metal part out
2. Pinch the clamps and insert the pencil through the shiny metal and red holes.
3. Put one hand on the sharpener crank and the other on top of the sharpener. Do NOT hold the pencil at all.
4. Turn the crank until you feel it swing free.
5. Pinch the clamp and remove the pencil.

Note: Depending on how sharp the pencil was when it went in, you may be done sharpening very quickly. You'll know because you'll feel the crank spin free.Kerinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11004000026380773406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7149716969262972471.post-83310592952024162802013-04-03T17:52:39.295-07:002013-04-03T17:52:39.295-07:00LOL!
